Laser navigation is the main selling point of this machine. The X8 makes use of laser mapping technology that is more precise than the previous Eufy devices. It takes less time to create an accurate map of your home and can store multiple maps. This is ideal for multi-floored homes.

The X8 is still a decent vacuum on bare floors that can carry debris under its side brushes and into its 400ml dust bin with relative ease. The Tyres of the X8, despite their circular shape, are efficient at grabbing edges and corners. Our tests revealed that it was able to remove 90% of the fur on hard floors.

The basic mopping mode uses the same water reservoir as the vacuuming mode. While this is great for spills that are not too large but you cannot control how much water it is using, which will limit its effectiveness for more severe staining. It does, however, do an admirable job of removing pet hair, and has a higher speed of pickup than the Roborock S7.

3. Miele RX2

The RX2's sensors are effective by registering furniture and obstructions in real-time. The floor tracking sensor helps it navigate around furniture, along edges and on the stairs. Cliff Detect prevents the Roomba from falling. It can also return automatically to the base station for simple recharges between sessions. While the 980's battery life and bin size aren't as impressive as some other robot vacuums, it's a sturdy and reliable machine that will keep your floors spotless for hours and hours.
