The s9+ is the best robot vacuum we've tested for cleaning hard floors and carpeting. It has the most powerful suction power of any robotic vacuum cleaner on the market. It also does an excellent job in getting rid of pet hair. It can also be programmed to make multiple passes or alter the level of suction depending on the size of the room, which is a feature we haven't seen on other models. The app lets you alter the way it operates and decide when it begins working, so that you can be in the room as it's whirring away.

Smart mapping generates a precise home map that can help the S9+ navigate efficiently and determine routes. It can also self-empty so you don't have to be there to help. It also recharges itself mid-clean. The s9+ could navigate around obstacles like tables and power cables with any issue. It never lost charge and did not get stuck. It doesn't have the hazard avoidance capability of the latest models and could get tangled up on rug tassels and other obstructions that it's unable to see.

Contrary to the majority of circular robots, the s9+ is flat-fronted and has an unsquared front, which helps it access corners better than round models. It doesn't have an app companion to it and voice control, however it does come with a simple remote. It doesn't inform you when the bin is full. You'll have to check it often.
