Another great feature is the ability to choose between two different cleaning intensities. There's an Eco mode that operates the vacuum quietly and extends the run time, and Turbo mode offers a more powerful clean. However Turbo mode operates at a loud, unfriendly volume which can be annoying if you're running the D7 while you're working or watching TV.

The Eufy 11S, like the Neato D7 is sleek and low-profile. It can fit under couches, beds and coffee tables more easily than other robot vacuums. It also has some innovations that help it clean better and go wherever you want it to go, like the no-go lines that you can draw on virtual maps to prevent it from cleaning sensitive areas such as pet bowls or bed. It also has a feature called auto-recharge and resume that, if it runs out of battery before it finishes cleaning it will return to its base and charge it, and then restart where it began.

In our tests, the RoboVac 11S performed more than its predecessor, the eufy RoboVac 30C. It also was more efficient than ILIFE A4s, bObsweep Bob Pro, and the ILIFE a4s. It has a larger dirt compartment and a longer battery life and can clear more debris from low pile and high pile carpets to naked floors. It is also simpler to maintain, has lower recurring costs and has a better ability to maneuver itself.

This robotic vacuum isn't the ideal choice for floors with no carpet. However it is a great option for those with carpeting that is medium and pets. It's well-built and comes with an array of navigational features. It is also easy to maintain. It has a shorter battery life, and has more frequent costs than other models.

The Q5 is among the slowest moving robots we've examined, but it does have an efficient layout algorithm that doesn't need babysitting beyond its first run through the space. It begins by drawing an area, and then fills in the interior using an array of parallel lines. Once it's finished, it returns to its charging station, or its base if it was able to depart from the base.

It did a very respectable job cleaning on hardwood floors, sucking up at least 88% of the dirt for each test. It was more difficult to clean carpets with high and low pile however, it performed much better than the standard unit. It also comes with mopping attachments that can clean up wet spills. We didn't test it.

Its mobility, which is more than average for a lidar robot is that it can bump into furniture or other obstacles with a gentle bump. Its navigation system can detect stairs and multiple floor levels which is a great touch that allows it to efficiently navigate multi-story homes. It can also recognize individual room types when you select them in the app. It can also adjust its power level, establish no-go zones and show an interactive map of the cleaning area.
